The above photo montage of the Battle of Britain was created from digital photographs taken during a visit to the Tangmere museum in Sussex . Mark Explains

'' During a visit to the Tangmere museum I was very touched by the bravery and courage of the RAF pilots who fought in the Battle of Britain. My Uncle also fought during WWII flying Wellington bombers but sadly died in Action. My father in-law also served in the RAF on 92 Squadron in Italy working on Spitfires in approx 1945. As I was so moved, I decided to create a photographic montage using photo reference taken with my high quality digital camera of the planes on display in the museum".

These were then digitally recreated with other images of clouds, countryside scenes etc.

The final colour photograph at approx 3ft 6'' x 1ft'' was presented to the museum on Tuesday 29th May 2001.
